Amazon in Munich is looking for a Senior Project Manager (m/f) for Amazon Consumables product lines, who incorporates a solid business understanding and top-notch analytical skills with the technical background to become one of the contributors for cross-product line development, to help launching major projects and recommend how to improve processes and tools. You will closely work with technical teams across the world as well as the local business teams. Your responsibilities: * Providing analytical & projects support to analyze performance and make clear recommendations for business actions * Help launching projects and activities across Consumables product lines in terms of demand (promotional activities and merchandising), marketplaces (third party sellers) and Supply Chain Management: support the creation of business plans for new opportunities, oversee projects' completion and success; report the project status towards all stakeholders * Driving development of business metrics and analytics: audit the existing metrics and suggest new KPIs to track continuous improvement; scope out the new reporting requirements; adopt and automate new reporting from our Data Warehouse (SQL) and present the new metrics to the business stakeholders * Making recommendations for new policies and processes improvements, including: understand the current supply chain and product management processes; help optimize product catalog integration; work with the development teams to contribute to improve the current business management systems; audit the current business processes and copy best practices from other product lines or Amazon countries; work on key projects that focus on process automation; develop tools in Excel, Access, VBA, BI (SQL) to facilitate process improvement short term Basic Qualifications: * University degree required, ideally in a technical or analytical discipline. * Multiple years of significant experience gained in an analytically focused role, for example consulting, financial/business analysis, or investment banking * Demonstrated ability to manage projects - work prioritization, planning and task delegation * Fluency in German and English and demonstrated strong English-language writing skills * Experience in BI intelligence tools, management reporting is a must vExpert knowledge of Excel and good knowledge of Access. Happy to deal with large sets of data to identify trends and issues. Ability to write SQL queries. * Structured communicator, levering priorities across stakeholders * Results oriented, effectively prioritizing and multitasking, able to work with tight deadlines * Experience in identifying root causes of problems and necessary actions to eliminate them * Great attention to detail Preferred Qualifications * Retail background * Experience in launching new bu
