We are looking for a Junior Credit Risk Analyst who reports to the Head of Credit for Coal, Freight, Oil and LNG.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and issuing daily reporting of credit exposures to trading desks.
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with the credit limits and credit terms approved for each counterparty
• Maintenance of counterparty credit limits data in the credit systems.
• Managing the collateralization requirements for trading in the OTC markets and administer / negotiate bank guarantees, parental company guarantees and letters of credit.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders (i.e. commodity trading desks, risk department, legal functions).
• Provide analyst cover across the wider credit team.

Qualification/Skills:

• A Finance, Business, Quantitative or Engineering academic background and strong analytic skills
• Excellent written English is pre-requisite as all business communications are in English
• Good computer based skills, proficient in Excel, or similar analytical tools
• Experience in VBA programming would be a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter, well organised, strong sense of initiative with the ability to think independently and pro-actively drive work streams through to completion.
