Key Responsibilities
Located at the European Headquarter we are looking for an experienced “Product Manager (m/f) Automotive Sensors”. In this exciting international challenge you are responsible for the development and execution of the marketing strategy for specific sensor applications in high growth segments. Acting and supporting in a global environment as the central interface between the European market characterized by its automotive OEM and Tier-1 customers and the sales, development and manufacturing organization you identify and review business opportunities, market and technology trends and align portfolio along these and the KPIs to growth. Essentially contributing all aspects of the product strategy including pricing, rationalization and cost you build strong customer relationships through early involvement in the development of new leading sensor products and applications. While collecting and analyzing the relevant market data regarding competitors, technologies and costs you will work highly interactive with your sales colleagues actively visiting your customers on a regular basis. Working in a consistently marketing driven success oriented corporate environment within a complex global matrix organization this position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a strong project management expertise with ability to guide locally spread, cross-functional teams as well as a highly analytical and methodical mindset in combination with strong problem solving capabilities. Qualification
- Engineering Degree (University, Master, Bachelor) or an equivalent qualification
Professional Knowledge
- Professional automotive marketing, development, application engineering or sales background in the field of sensors, semiconductor, electronics and/or electromechanics
- Proven product marketing knowledge and long-term experience
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to align with and guide locally spread, cross-functional teams within a complex global matrix organization
- Fluent English and German language skills are essential while a third European language skill would be advantageous
