PROFILE
- Degree in Engineering or Industrial Design
- A high technical understanding and knowledge of a diverse range of production techniques (metal, wood, glass, upholstery, plastics technology)
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in the area of furniture development
- Independant working with ability to lead a small team
- Fluent in German, Italian and English written and spoken
- Good computer skills including 3D (Rhino) and 2D software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign/Illustrator/Photoshop) and Micros. Office
- European driving license for travelling nationally and internationally
- A high degree of initiative and organizational talent
- Flexible, efficient and able to work under pressure
- Affinity for contemporary Design, Interior Design and Architecture
TASKS
- Responsibility for the product development processes for the ClassiCon contemporary and classic collection
- Coordination and management of the suppliers chain together with the purchase department
- Managing of contract projects in collaboration with architects
- Definition of the collection concept, together with the CEO, commercial and purchase department
- Quality management; defining quality standards and control methods to guarantee a high level of quality
- Product maintenance and enhancements of the existing collection
- Care and knowledge of test certificates and safety requirements
- Selection of designers and suppliers who correspond to the brand identity and philosophy with the CEO
- Managing 2 annual fair events; development and coordination of the fair stand together with stand- builders
- Supervising and instructing assistants
