Our client is a leading producer of fine wines in South Eastern Europe. Position Purpose The future Business Development Manager Germany and Nordic (m/f), will strategically plan and pursue the market entry for the German region and the Nordic countries. The position shall be based in Germany and will collaborate closely with the commercial director and the owning family. The package coming with this position depends on experience and expertise, but can generally be described as excellent.Principal Accountabilities planning and developing a strategic market entry to Germany and the Nordic countriesdevelopment of the Key Account Management towards Wholesalers and special wine distributorssetting up the annual plans, pursuing and controlling all Sales and Marketing activitiesbeing responsible for the product adjustments and assortment planningactively designing the strategic positioning in Germany and the Nordic countries.being in charge for Direct Sales and Direct Marketing through events, trade fairs and other corporate eventsleading the negotiations with clients, ensuring the follow-up of contractsdrafting proposals for product developmentensuring the customer satisfaction Professional Skills University Degreeproven experience in sales in Food & Beverage companies, preferably within the premium brands segment; key account experience with wholesales and department stores and a very good relation to buying departments and buying managersexperience in direct sales, sales and key account managementexperience in market entry planningexperience with Eastern Europe or Eastern European products is an advantagestrong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics, tools and measurable implementationComputer literacyfluency in English, Romanian an advantagePersonality Profile excellent negotiations and communication skillsleader attitude strategic thinking and business orientedresults and solutions orientedentrepreneurial attitude outgoing personality, capable to function as a team playerinteger and trustworthy character
