Device Development Engineer For our client, specialized in the area of medical devices and based in Switzerland, we are currently looking for a Device Development Engineer Start: asap Duration: long term project Workload: 100% Rate: Negotiable Your challenges Plan and execution of the work packages within area of responsibility including reporting and escalation of issues to the management Application of theoretical engineering knowledge in order to establish technical product requirements and develop engineering design solution to assure devices maintain the required level of performance throughout the life of the product Ensuring seamless handover of projects, from development to commercial manufacture, in compliance with quality systems Defining needs or problem areas and determine scope of investigation required in order to obtain a solution Conduction of research and performance of studies as well as surveys in order to obtain data, analysis of problems Generate required documentation/procedures/technical reports in support of daily activities and be able to author official documents in English (e.g. Technical Files, Design History Files) Prepare and deliver presentations of project results to own or other groups Your skills University degree (engineering or related discipline) 3+ years proven track record in medical devices development (ideally drug delivery devices) Interest in the resolution of technical problems and in interdisciplinary teamwork (labor, software, automation). Strong knowledge of regulations and industry standards as well as guidance within the area of medical devices (ideally also combination products) Capability to identify and develop new technology opportunities Enthusiastic team player with good communication and collaboration skills Solution oriented, autonomous and proactive working style Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
