For our headquarters in Berlin we are currently looking to recruit a Team Lead / IT Manager - Global Supply Chain Applications (m/f) as a part of our business unit IT Applications. The primary purpose of the Head of Global Supply Chain Applications (f/m) is to break down the strategic plan into a team strategy and individual goals. He/she plans, directs and co-ordinates the operations of the team as well as he/she leads and develops the team and the individuals in the team. He/ she is responsible to balance requirements for operations and projects as well as for unplanned activities within the team according to capabilities and priorities of team members and tasks. Your tasks in Detail: * Lead and develop the team by setting individual targets according to departmental mission, IT strategy and business needs * People and talent management including succession planning * Lead and organize application services according to the different focus streams, IT processes, industry standards (e.g. ITIL) and best practices * Own technical authority on application build, ensure definition and realization of technical designs according to solution definitions and BT standards * Build and manage agile pools of internal and external expertise to manage Global Supply Chain applications and projects at optimum capability and costs * Monitor and report completion of tasks/ activities and ensure on time and quality delivery * Collaborate closely with other departments and 3rd parties in the execution of tasks * Ensure stable operations of ERP applications in the field of Global Supply Chain following industry standards and best practices (e.g. ITIL) * Supervise incident, problem and change management for Global Supply Chain applications * Manage 3rd parties providers for (out-) sourced applications * Ensure compliance of Global Supply Chain applications and work closely with auditor, if applicable * Lead application managers and monitor the application TCO * Ensure proper documentation of application services in the area of Global Supply Chain QUALIFICATIONS * University degree in Computer Science, Management or Business Administration or an equivalent combination in education and work experience * Outstanding knowledge and work experience in working with SAP in Global Supply Chain * Team lead experience * Long-term expertise in managing 3rd parties and working experience with in- and outsourced environment * ITIL process knowledge * Strong interpersonal skills in areas such as team work, facilitation and negotiation * Strong leadership and change management skills * Outstanding problem solving skills, strong service and customer orientation * Understanding of the political climate of the enterprise and how to respond to p
