Our client

Long past the era of plug-and-play, global brands with distributed infrastructure networks need help to fully optimize social media software deployments for their specific business requirements.

 

For our client we are looking for highly experienced and well trained 

Service Delivery Manager  in 20354 Hamburg, Germany

to establish a relationship built on trust with his new and existing clientele. This role will grow his expanding need for leaders who can ensure that all of his customer’s initial and continuing needs are met and exceeded during the deployment of his software and the service that come along with it.

The Service Delivery Manager will report into the Regional Services Director and will be responsible for the following key activities:

  • Supporting the sales team in selling and understanding our client´s services portfolio within their region
  • Handling and resolving project escalations if consultants and project managers are unable to resolve themselves
  • Supporting and collaborating with other Service Delivery Manager to build best practices

It will be the responsibility of the SDM to ensure that a services solution is scoped which will fully support platform requirements and ensure the customer business objectives are met and exceeded by working with our client. They are also responsible for ensuring that the solution that is documented is supported and achievable by the services team, ensuring effort, skills, and timelines are fully understood and priced.

This role is Germany based and will hold responsibility for helping develop our client´s German business. The post holder must be fluent in German.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Discover all of the requirements for new clients, to establish the success criteria for implementations
  • Design and configure the appropriate solution, so that all requirements are met and that client expectations regarding platform use cases and functionality are fulfilled
  • Ensure that all client users are trained and educated properly and in a timely fashion
  • Complete the execution of the software deployment in such a way as to anticipate future client needs or business requirements that may occur
  • Ensure that every client derives the most value possible from the implementation experience
  • Assist the Sales Team in crafting implementation proposals
  • Support the Services Directors to ensure optimal client service as it relates to platform performance, functionality, enhancements, and configuration
  • May also be involved in pre-sales activity, working with internal business development teams to win new business and/or grow existing accounts

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise software deployment management and/or implementation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, German and English
  • Strong technical background with advanced computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Demonstrate experience and a passion for the social media technology universe
  • Extremely strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and juggle several assignments simultaneously
  • Fluency in social media platforms and direct experience in working with or for social media management software is preferred
  • Passion for solving client challenges and commitment to client delight
  • 4-year college degree
