Through Sony Mobile Communications Xperia™ smartphone and tablet portfolio, Sony Mobile Communications delivers the best of Sony technology, premium content and services, and easy connectivity to Sony´s world of networked entertainment experiences.  RESPONSIBILITIES Channel Management - Plans and drives the execution of: Partner centric sell through campaigns, partner wide retail activities, events, channel stock check and sell-through data Maximize POS visibility, recommendation & sell through for SOMC Consistent with partner strategy across all channels Accountable for Budget control and Co-op and MMF initiatives Ensuring that all tools and activities are aligned to partner and market needs Develop local initiatives with the partners and design and implement local campaigns and has a perfect understanding of what “added value” means to local MDM (Area Management) staff, in terms of core product (product, features, prices) and extended product (services, applications, content, accessories). These include insider MDB, insider points or other CRM related tools Execution of specific programs and campaigns within the local partner marketing strategy Responsible for adaptation of global creative strategy to ensure relevance and effectiveness within the local market and for implementation of retail campaigns and support for local rollouts Supports SOMC brand objectives and drives for optimum SOMC brand exposure in the local market Identification, development and execution of local sales and marketing opportunities and promotions in partnership with Account Managers and local Area Management Communicating the SOMC strategy to address local needs and creating & communicating the SOMC value proposition  EXPERIENCE Marketing experience Experience in a high tech/telecoms market desirable but not essential Formal marketing education essential Experience of briefing & assessing creative proposals Experience of managing agencies and budgets Able to read/assimilate & interpret market information Excellent customer facing skills Experienced presenter If you find this position interesting, please apply no later than July 24th 2015 via  http://blogs.sonymobile.com/career/working-at-sony-mobile/
