In the role of Senior Project Manager,
you will plan for and ensure quality and timeliness of activities related to IT
services delivery team. You will participate in requirements elicitation,
overall definition and management of services and contribute to activities
related to estimation, staffing analysis & solutioning and risk planning.
You will act as a mentor and support the project team in developing optimized
high quality deliverables. You will be part of a learning culture, where

is respected and valued. Work location is Augsburg. Base location can be flexible. Responsibilities:
- Accountability for control of the
Scope / Planning / Costs of the project
- Meet financial objectives by
forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures,
analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.
- Management of Programs (“Bundle”)
comprising services , maintenance and development teams with a front office /
back office organization
Engineering Skills:
Experienced in technologies and
applications concerning Product Engineering, System & Software Engineering
and Configuration Management in CAX, DEX and PLM domains.
- CAX/DEX: ( IBM DOORS, Solidworks,
PDMLINK, PDM Teamcenter, Patran, Nastran, Mathcad, ISAMI, Catia,
Autocad,VPM
- PLM: ( Windchill 10.1, Open PDM, CAD
Worker)
Professional knowledge about process
related use of the PLM, CAX, DEX-engineering tools, and engineering data flows.
i.e.
- Development processes
- Life cycle and release
processes
- Product Configuration principles
(efficiences, alternatives, substitutions, concessions)
Project Management
Skills:
- Experience to plan, manage and
coordinate large programs from initiation to implementation while managing cost,
schedule, quality, resources, change request, risk and issues
- Experience in SLA Management including
Incident, problem, Configuration, Service request etc.
- ITIL V3 knowledge and
experience
- Ability to drive continuous
improvement activities
- Management of formal & informal
customer relationships at the module level (Single Point Of Contact to the
customer on project related activities)
- Feedback to the organization on
Technology needs Process innovation and people engagement in order to contribute
to productivity improvement for the organization.
- Support to business development:
Identify new growth areas & opportunities, and actively work to covert these
- Knowledge of both development and
maintenance life cycles, estimation methodologies and quality
processes
- Mentor and guide the team
- Perform portfolio analysis, Plan
transition and execute Transition activities as per the plan in order to get
into the steady state as agreed with the customer.
- Should be fluent in German and in
English.
- Work experience in a distributed
development team and working with offshore team in India and other places will
be a plus.
