We work with product owners, product managers and developers to create products that deliver real value to our users. We explore new opportunities, technologies and services and continuously test and optimise our products to meet our users' needs.If you’re passionate about users, learning and design, we’d love to hear from you.A challenging task:Conceptualize and design new products and features for our mobile applicationsBe responsible for defining and refining our mobile pattern library and style guides together with visual designers and tech leadCollaborate with product teams and designers across the company to work out product solutions and interface patterns that meet requirements and are technically feasibleFacilitate decision-making sessions with various stakeholdersWork on bringing mobile and web experiences closer togetherDevelop drafts, information architectures and clickable prototypesApply user-centric thinking to come up with solutions users will loveEstablish a consistent look and feel for XING applications and mobile solutionsUse data from user tests and web analytics tools as well as user feedback to identify pain points and improve current solutionsWork collaboratively within a cross-functional teamA convincing background:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in interaction/interface/graphic design or related fieldsSeveral years of UX and design experience with consumer-facing websitesDeep understanding of user-centered designAn online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experienceExperience or familiarity with agile teams and agile developmentExpert Knowledge in Axure or similar prototyping toolsUnderstanding the basics of and appreciate mobile and web technologies such as HTML/CSS, Swift and Objective-CAbility to effectively communicate and persuasively convey design solutionsBe strong communicator and collaboratorAbility to meet tight deadlines and take directionAn inspiring environment: XING offers a dynamic environment located in the centre of Hamburg.
