Hamburg is the headquarters of the management of Airbus in Germany and with some 12,000 employees the largest Airbus site in Germany. The Hamburg site's activities focus on the following competences: cabin development center, development and production of the forward and aftfuselage sections as well as equipment of the fuselage sections with all flight-essential systems for the entire Airbus fleet. One of the three final
assembly lines for the A320 family aircraft (A318, A319, A320, A321) is based in Hamburg. After their assembly, the aircraft are delivered to customers all over the world. Among the activities carried out in Germany are also the cabin definition, interior furnishing, painting and delivery to customers in Europe and the Middle East of the Airbus fleet's flagship, the A380.
The Hamburg site boasts many years of experience in the overall process chain, from structural assembly and equipment installation through to final assembly and painting.

Working students are students who are enrolled at an university/Fachhochschule etc. and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position in parallel to their studies. It must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.
This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week. Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so that they can combine studying and employment.
Tasks
The Working Student is responsible for performing small projects within the R&T Community. These projects are set up to support the R&T client. All these tasks have to be performed in an international organisation with a very dynamic stakeholder environment. This position requires ample communication efforts to involve the various R&T sites: Hamburg, Bremen; Toulouse, Filton and Getafe.
Skills
You offer:
- Enrolled student within Industrial Engineering, Business Economics or similar field of study
- Solid and convincing knowledge of MS Office (in particular Excel) and profound VBA programming skills are required
- English: fluent/negotiation level
- German languages skills would be an advantage
You have strong communication skills, an independent way of working and you possess the capability and the will to achieve project targets autonomously.
