Our client is the European headquarters of a Tools group of companies. The company provides its customers with a wide range of innovative products ranging from cordless (akku) garden tools, power tools and pressure washers. The company manufactures for major retailers under private label, OEM customers under their brands and under its own proper Tools label. With sustained year on year growth, our client plans to increase the presence and accelerate the growth of its product portfolio in Continental Europe. To deliver these plans, we are looking for a Key Account Manager Germany & Austria (m/f).
Job-Beschreibung :
- Manage & develop all sales initiatives in an autonomous environment over a set of territories (Germany, Austria, …)
- Manage overall Sales through Distributor Partners and/or via direct link with Retail/ Trade/DIY Customers (Hornbach, Obi,…)
- Participate in Annual Negotiation with DIY Customers and Distributors.
- Propose focused & stage development plans for key targeted new potential markets and develop new markets/territories
- Assist and strategically lead Distributor Partners in developing the Brand strategy into the different territories.
- Animate & control those Distributors and independent Sales third parties working on our client´s behalf
- Participation to & organisation of Trade shows.
Gewünschtes Profil :
-Generalist Sales & Operational Marketing experience, preferably within DIY environment
- International multi-market sales
- Experience of managing Distributor relationships & third parties
- Detail conscious as well as capable of Strategic thinking
- Understanding of the European DIY market
- Fluent in English and German
- Proficient IT skills (especially Microsoft Office, Word, Excel & Powerpoint and Outlook)
- Experience and capable of full autonomy & self drive
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid Driving Licence
