Your main responsibilities as Design Engineer (m/f) for special machinery will be:Planning, developing, designing and calculating the manufacturing systems and machines as well as their components with high technical functional densityCommissioning of machines and systems in the CM and at the customer plants worldwideOptimization and adaptation of machines and systems to best meet production requirements as well as development of new manufacturing processesQualificationSuccessful completion of degree in the field of mechanical engineering, design engineering or natural scienceInitial professional experience in the specific or a similar areaKnowhow in machine safety technologyKnowledge in the area of drive engineeringSpecific knowledge of CAD especially with Autodesk productsGood knowledge of MS Office programsVery good German and English skills (written and spoken)Target-, process- and quality-oriented mindsetMarked ability to work as part of a team combined with a high degree of self-reliance in dealing with customers on site and good networking and communication skillsHigh willingness to travel worldwide (driving license)Ready to drive with Continental?
