System Development Engineer We are looking for a technically versed Development Engineer who will take on the responsibility for various development projects. Location: Turgi, Aargau, Switzerland Job Function: Research and Development Job Reference Code: CH56161682 Tasks: * You will take care of, manage and support a variety of product development projects – including writing and maintaining of related documentation * It will be on you to identify improvement potential and to solve them by taking the right countermeasures * Furthermore, you will be actively involved in different decision-making processes * Creating computer models to simulate the network stability as well as studies about grid stability using common simulation packages are also part of your agenda * Last but not least, we rely on you to support other colleagues in product management and engineering, sales, service and project execution Requirements: * Your basis is a higher technical education with electrical background (HTL, FH, ETH), combined with sound experience in working with power electronics * You will surely convince us with your ability to solve complex problems and complete complicated tasks by structured approach * Ideally, you are fluent in English and German, both verbally and in writing and have good skills in communicating topics comprehensively * Experience with network modelling is preferred Additional information: ABB is able to offer you an interesting role within a highly motivated team, together with open communication structures.
