How about being part of a multi-national operations team that designs, builds and operates a truly pan-European supply chain network across thousands of suppliers covering all major European markets? The role The Operations Analyst position would suit a recent graduate, ideally with internship based experience. Our Operations Analysts work with our suppliers, parcel couriers, freight carriers and warehousing partners to extend our unique supply chain. Our Operations Analysts work on a variety of projects, such as: Design -Designing our warehouse operations and modelling cost and performance of different options -Supporting our engineering teams to build tools to select the best shipping method based on cost and performance considerations Build -Build reporting and monitoring tools in Excel and using our SQL database to improve transparency and simplify operational processes -Simulating demand for products and making recommendations for stocking levels Operate -Monitoring operational performance of our key suppliers and driving tangible improvements in their order handling and dispatch processes -Review our internal processes and customer communication to improve customer experience and improve self-service usage Operations Analysts will be assigned to one of our operational teams and in addition work on operational and strategic projects together with our senior leaders and experts. We offer 2 tracks for Operations Analysts: The analytical track where you will primarily engage in data analysis, modelling and process design, and the operational performance track: where you will primarily work on improving operational processes. What do you need to possess to apply? -University-level education in all fields of study; an engineering or statistics degree would be a plus -A track record of getting things done: first professional experience, be it from internships or summer jobs while studying or your first post-graduation work experience -A passion for logistics and supply chain -Fluency in English also in German is essential And finally, our proposition to you!
