Major Account Manager - Germany/EMEA

ASC
International is currently seeking a Major Account Manager based in Germany.
This
position is responsible for maintaining and increasing revenue through account
management and personal selling. This includes increased penetration at all
levels of assigned customer organizations.
This individual will also be responsible for large contract
negotiations, enhancing customer satisfaction, and gathering and communicating
market information to staff. They will
plan and implement sales to specific major accounts by cultivating
relationships and identifying opportunities. Account management skills are
critical.
Position Duties:

Guides
co-workers in managing major customer accounts and evaluates progress
accordingly so that the most effective approaches are used in the selling
process.
·
Meets
and exceeds personal sales targets as established. May be called on to
perform sales calls outside territory boundaries.

Gathers
and communicates market information to staff to enhance the product planning
function.
·
Increase
revenue through penetration of assigned large customer organizations.
Responsible for contract negotiations.
·
Participates
in training for internal sales professionals and on-site technical training for
customers.
·
The
incumbent is an internally recognized expert on CAS products and competitive
products. Extensive expertise in customer workflow.

Participates
in special projects to help lead marketing in meeting strategic objectives.
·
Serves
as technical resources to sales professionals, the incumbent contributes to
sales meetings by providing deeper understanding of product workings or
applications, as well as product limitations and nontraditional product usage.
Requirements:
·
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, an advanced degree
is highly preferred.
·
5+ years in technical sales focused on
information, informatics, analytical/diagnostic or similar field is preferred.
·
Experience with searching CAS and
understanding of CAS product features is preferred.
·
Experience managing and working with large
clients is preferred.
·
Ability to travel
