To support our team we are looking for a Manager Sourcing Mechanics EMEA (m/f) Location: Augsburg Your tasks: * Support the development of global sourcing strategies together with Director Sourcing EMEA and the two peer Managers of Sourcing Mechanics in APAC and NA * Self-dependent development and approval of strategies for categories and cost reductions * Establish total cost of ownership analyses and evaluations * Control and maintain current prices and contracts * Start RFP/RFQs and negotiations on prices, terms & conditions/contracts and closing of multi-year contracts * Establish strategic decisions on EOL/last time buy when products are phased out by our suppliers * Scan, controlling and evaluation of current suppliers * Searching and bundling of current and/or additional potential suppliers for existing products * Global responsibility for certain key suppliers * Support local entities on issues with suppliers * Responsibility for driving and measuring KPIs * Administration and deputy for regional SAP modules * Participate in ad hoc projects worldwide (e.g. global SAP roll-out) Your qualifications: * Multi-year experience in mechanics/computing hardware industry * Leadership experience of multinational teams and willingness to travel around 10% of working time in Europe * Knowledge of sourcing levers and processes and of supplier relationship management * Fluent English language skills are a must, further languages would be an advantage * Co-Development of global sourcing strategies for mechanics and execution on regional level * Negotiations and closing of contracts and selection of suppliers along the group sourcing strategy * Management and evaluation of suppliers for mechanics Our offer: Are you interested in an interesting and varied job in an exciting and international environment?
