We work with product owners, product managers and developers to create products that deliver real value to our users. We explore new opportunities, technologies and services and continuously test and optimise our products to meet our users' needs.A challenging task:Conceptualise and design new products and features in close collaborationwith the product managerConstantly improve the user experience of our productsDevelop drafts and clickable prototypesApply user-centric thinking to come up with solutions users will loveEstablish a consistent look and feel for XING applications and mobile solutionsFacilitate user tests and use web analytics data to identify pain pointsWork collaboratively within a cross-functional teamA convincing background:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in interaction/interface/graphic design or related fieldsUnderstanding and appreciation of the basics of mobile and web technologies such as HTML/CSS and JavaScriptDeep understanding of user-centred designAn online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experienceExperience or familiarity with agile teams and agile developmentExpert knowledge of Axure or similar prototyping toolsAbility to effectively communicate and persuasively convey design solutionsExperience in mobile UX would be a plusGood collaboratorAbility to meet tight deadlines and take chargeFluency in EnglishAn inspiring environment: XING offers a dynamic environment located in the centre of Hamburg.
