Global Account Manager – Corporate Travel (f/m)
We are now looking to hire a dedicated Global Account Manager
– Corporate Travel (f/m) for our offices in Munich or Berlin, Germany.
Alternatively this role could also be based in the UK or France. Egencia is the
corporate travel arm of Expedia. Our market leading technology and superior
service helps customers achieve significant cost savings while controlling
their travel policies.
The role:
Manage Global and Local relationship with a Pan-European/Global
customer with the support of local Account Managers Grow Egencia customers’ profitability by selling new services
and products Increase the trading value of the portfolio (new countries, new
subsidiaries, etc.) Manage customer expectations and complaints, liaising where
appropriate with internal departments e.g. Operations, Technology and Finance Answer renewal request for proposals and re-negotiate contract Focus on process improvement through innovative thinking
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Full responsibility for Pan-European/Global customer
relationship Fluent English & German, written and spoken Coordinate implementation process with Implementation team
across Europe Provide quarterly / bi-annual / annual reports to customers and
use as a platform for increasing spend. This may include choosing new
technologies, analysis of their travel budget, negotiations with travel
providers Sell Egencia expertise to customers to increase the trading
value of the portfolio Manage (re)negotiations with customers Success Criteria:

Key Experience and Skills
B2B commercial Global account management experience, preferably
within a Corporate Travel Management provider Proven corporate account management of SME and Key accounts,
national / multinational, account size ranging from €5-20m across multiple
markets and geographies Portfolio Management of up to €30m+ Understanding of multi-cultural environments and proven ability
to adapt accordingly Ability to demonstrate commercial drive advice aligning with the
client’ strategy Proven ability to demonstrate board and senior level
relationships Customer focused Organized and structured Maintaining Key Account strategy whilst coordinating with local
markets to deliver overall benefits and value Strong commercial aptitude Ability to analyse and summarize Proven negotiation skills Creativity Problem solving capabilities Good Excel skills Excellent communication skills, both in person and on the phone Ability to adapt communication style depending on the audience Strong and proven presentation skills Good listening skills with the ability to interpret the
customers’ needs Proven experience of a solution based approach Thrives in a pressurised environment Ability to be precise and work to tight deadlines Able to work autonomously, as well as working in a team environment
