Sr Sales Representative for medical devices, North Rhein-Wes

Position Overview: The Sr Sales representative/Key Account Manager is responsible for sales of all Welch Allyn products and services throughout the North Rhein-Westfalia region of Germany. This sales professional will develop and expand business by planning sales and marketing strategies, providing technical pre- and post- sales support, and promoting products and services to individuals in the medical profession and to non-clinical buyers and distributors. The Sr Sales Representative will be expected to meet or exceed sales revenue and margin targets while conveying Welch Allyn value propositions through all interactions. This individual will work from a home office located in the North Rhein-Westfalia region. Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent (preferred). - Minimum 5 to 8 + years of sales experience in the Medical device industry or related healthcare company, preferably with a multinational corporation. - Solid prior sales experience managing distributor relationships and ability to sell to KOL (Key Opinion Leaders). - Established record of success in delivering sales goals and quotas. - Outstanding ability to partner and collaborate while driving results. - Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the company and participate with a strong team-oriented approach. - Desire to gain knowledge of Welch Allyn product line, selling and business strategy, selling partners, and competitors. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. - Possess good computer skills. - Stable employment history. - Ability to speak, read and write in German and English. - Unrestricted driver's license. - Ability and willingness to travel locally on a daily basis with some overnight travel estimated at 10-20%. - Ability to transport and lift product as necessary. Responsibilities: • Deliver annual sales revenue target for the North Rhein-Westfalia territory. • Execute Welch Allyn corporate and German regional strategy by generating growth through a mix of direct and indirect sales as identified in the territory business plan. • Prepare and execute an annual territory business plan using available analytical tools to derive maximum sales and market penetration. Plan may include focus on specific product goals, dealer activities, and MBO’s. • Support, train, and direct distributors in the territory ensuring business, promotions and sales strategies are defined and executed. • Develop and promote a strong Welch Allyn brand within the region to generate long-lasting relationships with customers. • Coordinate introduction of several new products throughout the territory direct with end-users and through independent representatives and distribution partners. • Manage key accounts in the territory.
