Our Office Infrastructure Operations team is on the lookout for a MS Lync/Skype for Business Specialist to join the team and be responsible for the smooth, flawless running of our internal communication tool, Lync/Skype for Business. In this role you will carry out maintenance on the system, troubleshoot any errors that arise during peak times, implement updates, develop optimizations, integrate our current phone system into Lync/Skype for Business and in general take ownership and responsibly for all technical Lync/Skype for Business related issues. We have big plans for how we would like to use Lync/Skype for Business in the future (external calls & integration with SharePoint Farm) and so need someone who is ready for the exciting challenges that lie ahead of us. The ideal candidate: Speaks English (our company language) fluently.Has graduated or completed an apprenticeship in IT, preferably specializing in Windows Server Client or Network Infrastructure and has a certificate in MCSE: Messaging & MCSE: Communication.Has worked for 4-5 years with Windows Server Client System 2008R2/2012/7/9/10.Has 4 years experience in Microsoft Lync 2013/Skype for Business.Has a thorough understanding of the best practices for Private Cloud security.3-4 year’s experience Scripting and working with Network TCP/IP, UDP etc.Enjoys taking ownership of a project and is willing to take responsibility for the smooth running of Lync/Skype for Business 24/7.
