Duties & ResponsibilitiesDepartment manager in the Product Area ElectrificationBudget, resource planning and personnel planningDisciplinary and technical management of employees and teamsTechnical responsibility for the advance development and series development of electrical drive systems including any required software and mechanical systems (e-machine, electric traction drives, thermal systems) Optimization and further development of processes and working methods including cross-functional collaboration with the Operations, Purchasing, and Sales departmentsActive interface management as well as continuous method and process optimization along with the assigned specialist departments and with other functional areasRequirementsA sound technical education from a polytechnic, university of applied sciences or university of technology in one of the following fields or in a comparable field: Mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineeringMany years of relevant professional experience in automotive engineering, preferably in powertrain developmentAppropriate self-assertion and communication skills when working with team members, customers and suppliersExperience in managing areas with more than 15 employeesKnowledge of relevant product engineering processesExtremely good command of German and EnglishAdditional InformationThe minimum collective agreement monthly salary for this position is EUR 5,866.64 gross.
