Job
Summary & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a bright & creative person with a real passion
for research to help take up an important new role across our 3 German offices
to act as advisor to our clients on how to create better online surveys. We
don’t expect you to be a total expert on this topic yet but you must be willing
to jump in and learn. In this role you will be expected to become immersed in
research theory and learn all about how to design better surveys and have the
confidence to pass on and communicate this advice to our clients. It is also a
creative position, it’s not just about knowing the theory, you will have to
come up with ideas and solutions based on this theory and put it into practice.
We are looking for someone with an understanding of design aesthetics and
ergonomics too, because how a survey looks and the ease with which it can be
completed on a PC, Tablet and Smartphone are important factors too.
The job will afford you some freedom to conduct your own research
experiments to help road test out the ideas and solutions you are proposing for
our clients which we hope would turn you into a thought leader in the industry.
You may be a researcher looking for your next career move or an academic
in the research field looking to stretch your legs in the commercial
arena. You may be from a completely
unrelated science or arts background but we would expect you to have some
understanding of psychology and behavioral economics. You should have a good
command of maths, be able to write and communicate well and demonstrate you can
stand up and present to a group of people with some authority (though you may
not have done this before).
In your role you will be working closely with the Sales team for and
with our clients across Northern, Central and Eastern Europe. We expect you to
have a pro-active creative hands-on mentality spending most of your time
advising our clients, either 1:1 or through workshops and seminars, on how to
create better online surveys on any device and getting more value out of their
online research.
It should be a fun and interesting job and you will be able define your
own path, so you will have to be a self starter and be
