Mit ihren jeweiligen Kernprodukten fokussiert die Gruppe auf Fahrerassistenz- und Sicherheitssysteme, Body Elektronik und HMI, Power Systeme, Motor- und Sensorelektronik sowie Elektrofahrzeuge.JobbeschreibungThe GM Resident Engineer is responsible for providing the point contact at the customer location where assigned and provides escalation focus for problems and issues from the customer to the Magna Company. May instruct and provide technical guidance to engineers and other technical staff through the design and development or other processes. Acts as the Tier I level support engineer for Magna Electronics. Hauptaufgaben- Be on site at the customer location for quick response to their requirements - Communication with customer and supplier as well - Coordinate release activity in the customer release system - Participate in on site customer as well as project team meetings - Deliver development parts and prototype parts for customer breadboards and deliverabiles, coordinates customer feedback loop with manufacturing plants and PD team - Manage the Configuration document for all parts delivered to the customer - Vehicle commissioning, supervision of experimental installations, test execution, vehicle configuration - performe diagnostics in electronics and software network field of automotive (CANoe/ Canalyzer, CAN/LIN-Diagnostic tools) - Support for defect root cause analysis - Interface and assist customer on quality and warranty issues (Communication with team at home base for support) -"Identify competitive information" Kenntnisse und Kompetenzen- Good knowledge of camera based driver assistance systems - Flexibility and willingness to travel to both Magna and customer locations within the EU and possibly to the US if requested
