Your tasks: * Designing, defining, and implementing system requirements for complex customer systems and/or preparing studies and analyzing for existing systems * Works on problems of a diverse scope where analysis of data requires a review of identifiable factors * Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action * Determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for systems compatibility required by the customer for assigned subsystems * Assists in the definition, design and integration of total system. Includes systems modeling, experimentation and data analysis, system testing. May be responsible for subsystems of the overall design * Incorporates technologies from multiple disciplines * Designs and/or makes recommendations to improve overall system performance * Technical portion of the CRA (change request authorization) and for creation and maintenance of the PDD (Product Definition Document) * Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions * Responsible for system level evaluation either with vehicle interface of internal product design and testing for compliance of components by specifications * Depending on specific assignment in systems team: * Assist or may be responsible for communication with customer and/or the resident engineers regarding design definition * Assist or may be responsible for communication with factory engineering, and validation engineering regarding design/test issues * Coordinates electrical/software/mechanical design and determines most appropriate implementation trade-off (e.g. electrical -VS- software) of design * May provide on-site engineering support for the assigned customer, collaborating in all program phases from initial concept to program end * May assist in managing the customer's specific release processes throughout the entire development cycle of each specific product * Coordinate and project manage upgrades and network migrations that involve * Assists in the definition of system requirements; maintains compliance with the customer's specifications Your profile: * Engineer in Electronics, Telecommunications or something similar - 2-5 years experience in SW Development or System Engineering in Automotive * Experience in the Infotainment area: HMI, DAB, FM/AM, Tuner, Vehicle Interfaces, Connectivity, Bluetooth etc. * Experience with Car-Infotainment and Telematics Systems * Experience with CAN, MOST- and Diagnostic-Protocols (UDS, KWP2000..), related Tools (CANoe, Optolyzer, Diag-Tester) and programming languages (CAPL, XML) as also Requirement Tools (Doors, MKS Integrity) You can expect ... * Experience in exciting and international projects * Continuous salary development * Da Vinci Corporate Benefits * Training and language courses * Appreciation, motivation and commitment Nothing provides more motivation than success.
