For our Edoxaban department in our European headquarters in Munich we are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position: Senior Manager Edoxaban Communications & Product PR Europe (m/f) The Position: The incumbent will lead internal und external Communication & Product PR strategy and tactics for Edoxaban in Europe providing counsel to Daiichi Sankyo Europe internal and external business partners. Furthermore, he/she will develop and standardize processes and quality measurements related to Product PR within the European organisation in line with the global framework and will act as a spokesperson for Edoxaban Product PR related media inquiries (including medical trade, consumer media, advocacy groups, patients (DTC) and Daiichi Sankyo Europe employees). Key responsibilities: * Create and execute the Annual Communication Plan including strategy, tactics, standardized processes and ways of measurement (qualitative and quantitative) to drive success of Communication & PR activities within the European region. * Ensure alignment of the European PR program with the global strategy and through close interaction with the European affiliates. Dedicated person for budget tracking, approval of country plans and adaption of European strategy in the EU markets, supporting optimal implementation in line with the defined objectives as well as single point of contact for PR related affiliate requests. * Establish and foster relationship with pan-European media and journalists: Mapping and definition of key target groups on EU level (in aligment with affiliates). * Develop and track the Stakeholder Managment Plan and costumer specific key materials, e.g. communication pieces, press releases, press kits, standy statements and Q&As. * Organize and implement EU media activities at major international congresses and throughout the year to drive media awareness and coverage in line with the overall product positioning and business objectives. * Co-ordinate and manage public relations/communications product issues on a European scale and provide problem solving solutions to the team. * Act as an "internal communication expert" and consultant to the functional teams, e.g. Marketing, Medical, HEOR and Commercial Excellence to leverage data and differentiate the product via media. * Participate in several cross functional working teams, the ELT and lead the workstreams for external and internal communication. Professional experience and personal skills: * University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or an equivalent qualification * At least a minimum of 3 years' working experience in a comparable position within international pharmaceutical industry or a PR agency with focus on Life Sciences or Pharma * Proficiency in using Communications & PR tools; knowledge of relevant agencies and media (network) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrable intercultural competency * Excellent project management skills and experience in international (European) projects
