Amazon is growing its Marketplace and Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) businesses aggressively. In this context, Amazon is looking for a talented, passionate and analytically driven Marketing Manager to further grow the Fulfilment by Amazon business on the German marketplace.
This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for a motivated marketing professional. The primary objective of the Marketing Manager will be to inform merchants across all categories about the benefits of FBA and to raise enthusiasm for that service by setting up and driving various scalable marketing activities, such as email campaigns, webinars and seller events. The position is located in Berlin, Germany.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and executing FBA email campaigns
* Refining and coordinating the execution of FBA webinars
* Conceptualizing and driving educational seller events to increase overall awareness and adoption of the FBA service
* Building automated workflows to support marketing campaigns/programs and ensure on-time launches
* Driving, analyzing and improving campaign effectiveness, e.g. A/B testing
* Creating and automatizing reports and dashboards to measure campaign/program effectiveness
* Collaborating with international teams to support the definition of the product road map, market positioning, and program initiatives
* Working with worldwide counterparts to share best practices
* Helping to localize global marketing content for DE specific us
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree with marketing reference, Master desired
* 3+ years' experience in online and/or consumer marketing, preferably with online retail experience
* Proven track record of writing skills, experienced in creating successful email-campaigns, website information and presentations through HTML
* Must be comfortable with Excel and capable of manipulating data in order to perform both high level and more granular analysis.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with very good German and English skills and an ability to influence others
* Strong analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs
* Track record of successful project management
* Passion for driving new things and working with technical teams
* Autonomous and reliable work, ability to work in a team and above-average commitment
* Ability to understand and formulate complex issues
* High degree of creativity and initiative with the ability think "outside the box" and to think cross-media, hands-on ability
* Have relentlessly high standards and a high attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the media industry preferred
* A thorough understanding of direct marketing principles
* Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution
* Experienced in content management systems, Marketo or other marketing automation platform experience
* Knowledge of SQL is a plus
* Any other EU languages
