Beschreibung des Unternehmens: Our client is the German subsidiary of a leading global manufacturer of industrial minerals - mainly derived from calcium carbonate and dolomite - and a worldwide distributor of specialty chemicals. The company''s major markets are forest products (fiber based products such as paper, board and tissue), polymers, building materials (paints, coatings, adhesives and construction materials), as well as life sciences (food, feed, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, environment and agriculture). As an important part of the commitment for customized solutions and the ongoing growth strategy, we are currently looking for a Sales Development Manager (m/f) for the Polymers division. Within this division, our client is delivering important raw materials as well as value-adding specialties. The client base is quite wide and is including manufacturer of films, packaging, pipes and profiles as well as rubber products in Central Europe (Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Scandinavia and Finland). Job-Beschreibung: - Transfer of R&D innovations to operative sales success - Independent business development in targeted applications - Decisive support in marketing new distribution products - Creation of market research material to support the local sales teams - Reporting line is the Sales Director Polymers Central Europe - The role is based in the headquarter in Cologne Gewünschtes Profil: - Degree in chemistry is mandatory, highly preferably in polymerchemistry or comparable - Very well commercial skills - Three years plus experience in a decisive role along the value chain for the polymer industry (e. g. sales, project management, procurement, project management). all combined with a high degree of solution orientation - Deep knowledge of at least one modern production method within the polymers industry, e. g. foil production (blown or cast), tilling extrusion, deep-drawing - Strong communicative, solution oriented skills - Willingness to travel within the region - Fluent knowledge of the English and German language, another Berufserfahrung: 7 - 10 Jahre Beginn des Vertrages: 25-05-15 Vertragslaufzeit: Ganztags
