JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
There is an immediate opportunity to join our highly successful Sales
Specialist team as
Sales Specialist FX/FI (f/m)
based in Frankfurt.
The successful candidate will champion and proactively lead the sales of
the Thomson Reuters FX and Fixed Income proposition in the financial
marketplace. The role involves promoting Thomson Reuters desktop solutions,
seeking and developing new business (inside and outside of Thomson Reuters
existing customer base) and driving competitive sales opportunities. Your
primary focus will be to generate revenue and working alongside Account
Managers as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLE:
Pro-actively lead pre-sales campaigns for Thomson
Reuters Desktops in the Foreign Exchange and Fixed Income space
Develop and lead large scale sales opportunities,
through the full sales cycle, with the specific goal of offering the
client a solution that will benefit his workflow
Lead customer presentations, workshops and
meetings for the purposes of winning new business
Work with Account Managers to develop and execute
sales strategies for Thomson Reuter’s accounts
Collaborate with Thomson Reuters Product Teams to
create, develop and implement desktop concepts for clients
Develop and maintain client relationships, at all
levels of an organization
Develop and maintain a rolling 12 month sales
forecast together with Account Management
Maintain accurate customer contact and opportunity
data in Trust
PERSON
SPECIFICATION - REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION:
Natural sales person with successful sales
experience of 5 years in the FX and Fixed Income area
Working experience as Corporate FX and Fixed
Income Sales in banking is an advantage
University degree or equivalent working
experience
Deep financial markets and instrument knowledge
of FX and Fixed Income
Strong self-motivation with a determination to
succeed
Able to achieve targets consistently
Willingness to
travel
Fluency in German and English
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Sales
Specialist Manager, FX/FI East Europe.
