Position Overview: - Test the new and existing features in our software to assure the best quality of our product - Work closely with our developers as an integral part of our agile development team - Own responsible for our test-plan including the definition of new test scenarios and maintain our regression test suite - Document test results in Testrail - Report to Director of QA - Participation in daily stand-up meetings - Other duties and job responsibilities as assigned Qualifications: - 3+ years of professional experience as a QA Engineer - ISTQB Certification - Foundation Level - Hands-on experience in web based software testing in an agile development environment - Experienced in creating and maintaining test cases - Comfortable with Linux and Windows systems, the command line is your friend - Highly structured, analytical and organized - Ability to work independently, managing tasks and time effectively - Knowledge or Jira or any similar ticket system - Basic knowledge of MySQL and Java a plus - Experienced with automated test tools such as Selenium a plus - Good English and German skills required What Datameer offers: - A focused, driven culture and a collegial working environment - Buddy Program: A “buddy” takes care of you during your on-boarding weeks - GeekOut: Time allocated for invention - GeekInn: International employee exchange program - Foosball tournaments, BBQs, Movie-Nights and other weekly event Datameer is in hyper-growth mode and proud that our fearless leader is one of the unmentioned guys who created the original code for Hadoop.
