We are looking for our Department Innovation Center Customer Solution in Essen for a/an Data Business Development Manager (m/f) Ihre Aufgaben * Champion a step change in customer experience through the use of insight, best practice, and by putting the customer at the heart of our thinking * Make a significant difference for E.ON's future Retail business via development of an innovation program with powerful deliverables and recognizable success stories based on data * Basic understanding of E.ON's Mid-/Downstream business (Retail, Distribution, Decentralized Energy, Trading) * Develop, initiate and supervise data related / data enabled pilot projects and ensure consecutive implementation * Combine external input (suppliers, conferences) with input from business partners for putting together a compelling program of innovation projects * Build up and foster strong relationships with business partners, within the unit Technology & Innovation (T&I) and IT related units such as IT, Engineering, Digital Transformation Unit * Manage a program with several projects and communicate especially about key/flagship projects * Strive for a world class T&I performance by breaking new ground such as "open innovation" and "lateral thinking" * Inspires business to adopt a design thinking mindset * Use your fluency in the language of consulting (business drivers, process and needs) as well as big data models, interoperability and date driven business opportunities * Adeptly and quickly move from fuzzy problems to working solution prototypes * Build strong relationships with business leads across E.ON and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure ownership and support to ensure successful delivery * Work in conjunction with wider E.ON teams and external organizations to bring into E.ON best practices * Support program managers on strategic planning, developing the scope of the program/project and tracking the program or project to ensure successful delivery * Lead and play a key role in relevant steering groups and working groups Ihr Profil * A strong people leader * Strong analytical and conceptual skills * Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate and influence at all levels * Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convince * Ability to share knowledge in a simple, effective way * Proactive organization and prioritization of work * Ability to lead change with a strong delivery focus * Coaching and mentoring team members * MBA or equivalent university degree * Several years of professional experience in the development of data driven products
