Global Product Specialist (f/m) for GORE™ SKYFLEX™ Aerospace Materials Location: Pleinfeld near Nuremberg, Putzbrunn near Munich Job number: 151138 As a Product Specialist, you will lead the development of new applications for our SKYFLEX™ Aerospace Materials business. Join Gore to ensure we continue pioneering in engineering innovative cable and material solutions for applications. You will generate new product and application ideas to achieve long-term growth in the aerospace business. This will include investigating as well as, driving new product ideas and applications with customers within a complex aerospace environment. Therefore, you will utilize your agile decision – making and influencing skills to effectively align the external needs and internal capabilities to achieve sustainable growth. You shall develop an in-depth technical knowledge of end-use applications and our product performance expectations throughout the entire value chain. Facilitating cross-functional collaboration and alignment to achieve product success will form part of your commitment. It will be on you to network and build strong relationships locally and globally within the Aerospace industry and Gore to understand unmet needs and technology roadmaps. Last but not least, you will assess business opportunities by developing business strategies for new products and technologies. In order to build a strong local collaboration and network, it will be necessary to have your initial home base in Pleinfeld near Nuremberg – Germany. Your profile: * A technical degree with a minimum of 2 years of product management experience or product development leadership experience within a global working environment. * Knowledge or experience of the aerospace market would be to your advantage. * Demonstrated success at leading complex projects with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams to drive product success. * Experience identifying and executing new application opportunities resulting in profitable revenue growth. * Demonstrated application of early-stage product development best practices including opportunity assessment tools, project reviews, stage-gate development processes and market data analytics. * Knowledge of IP protection practices and experience with non-disclosure agreements. * Innovative and creative thinker with the proven ability to plan, prioritize and drive projects. * Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English; German, French, Spanish or any other language would be appreciated. * Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 50%.
