For our Financial Planning & Analysis team in Berlin, Germany we are recruiting, initially limited to 24 months, a: Business and Financial Analyst (f/m) Just the right job for you: You will be the dedicated first point of contact for several budget owners from business departments in order to compile, steer and manage their budgets and submit quarterly estimates You will undertake monthly analyses of financial statements  and will explain variances in actual vs. planned / prior period results and the outlook for the coming months You will work together with the shared financial services organization as well as other finance functions across the company to ensure the proper accounting treatment of business transactions You will supply management with various types of financial reports, presentations, analyses and advice and provide support for ad hoc projects That‘s why we want you: Around 2 years of experience with financial statement analysis and accounting (US GAAP and / or IFRS); Not just interested in the numbers themselves but especially in the story behind the numbers; Experienced in working with SAP, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Track record of performing in environments that are ever-changing and sometimes chaotic; Accurate and detailed in your work without losing track of the overall picture; Interest in the media & entertainment industry and good sense of humor highly recommended; A university degree in business / accounting / finance or another quantitative subject; Fluency in English and German.
