Power Distribution Components Division ES EMEA has an opening for:Senior Engineer Breakers & Electronic Power Switching Mechaniclocated in Vienna, Austria The primary function of this position: Operates all mechanical engineering activities and tasks based on domain know-how for MCB platform Assesses and approves the new electromechanical technology Manages smaller NPD projects (PROLaunch, Runner and Minor Repeater) and to meet project objectives Drives and contributes new technologies and designs - ready for industrialization   The essential functions are: Acts as an expert for products, technology and regulations Ensures the development of future professionals (product specialists, etc. ) Leads project teams allong technical projects Ensures meeting product cost targets through appropriate design actions in NPD/DTC project Provides input to technology roadmaps, product roadmaps and profit / project plans Ensures development and alignment of electromechanical product specifications with all required stakeholders (R&D, Segment Leaders) Ensures new product documentation as a technical file / manufacturing documentation using Eaton tools such as Enovia, Bidmanager, … Drives use of senior level simulation methodologies, component, technology and process selection, Eaton DFSS and mechanical standards Provides support to Team Lead and R&D Manager and project teams, securing compliance with standards, and adherence of engineering processes with ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 and EHS directive as well as EBS Manages design work with other divisions and product lines, as well as internal and external service providers/partners to meet program requirements Drives patent management process  Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) • Engineer/Bachelor/Master degree in mechanical engineering• In depth Experience in similar product design and technology• Experience in the design of electromechanical components• Strong technical attitude; product knowledge and strong knowledge of UL, IEC, CE, NEC standards• Fluent in German and English• Experience in CAD and different ERP and Data Management systems• Capability to drive innovative solutions for relevant products• Knowledge of power distribution products preferredThe monthly compensation for this position is € 3.500,-- gross (aliquot including Holiday and Christmas payment), willingness to overpay depending on experience.
