E.ON-wide steering of strategic sourcing activities for a generation-specific global spend category (in case of Category Lead: including functional lead of 2 global category managers). The position holders report to one of the two Heads of Global Category Management within the Centre of Competence (CoC) Generation of E.ON Corporate Procurement. Leading of strategic procurement initiatives in the area of the global category taken responsibility for: Civil & Engineering, and/or Turboset (Steam/gas turbines and generators) Mechanical, Pumps & Valves, and/or Definition, implementation and regular update of category strategies. Development and implementation of global contracts which will be used for operational sourcing activities internationally. Close collaboration with regional procurement colleagues of the extended category team, technical counterparts and further relevant stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of the category strategy.
