For a start-up venture we are seeking: Senior Email Marketing Manager (f/m) Do you have a knack for getting the right emails into the right inboxes at the right times? Do you live to see those open and clickthrough rates climb higher and higher? We're seeking an expert email marketer to join us. Be part of an exclusive team of pros differing in their field of expertise but sharing the same passion for putting a ding into the universe. You'll be expected to develop and track email campaigns to ultimately increase our business' email marketing success. Your responsibilities:Grow our email list organically, not through bought or rented listsManage various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sendsSegment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.)Measure results and optimize the lead nurturing workflows for these segments to convert leads into customersWork to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of our email sendsDevelop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email Our requirements: BA/BS or equivalent working experienceFamiliarity with and understanding of our online target groups: retailers and consumersPast experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and web analyticsExcellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as sender score, deliverability, and sender reputationProficiency in email marketing and marketing automation technologyHighly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through A/B testing and email optimizationExcellent writer and communicator in EnglishPassion for ecommerce as well as entrepreneurial spirit with a hands-on mentality and a “done-is-better-than-perfect” attitude What you get:Live up your passion to “put a ding into the universe“Participate in shaping a new business and building the teamExclusive responsibility for email marketing of our new business divisionEnjoy a start-up atmosphere where people share the same passion and work with the same commitment Burning with desire to join the pro team?
