Industrial/Manufacturing Solutions Architect (m/f) Primary Location: Munich, Germany – Job Number: 759553 Job Description As an Industrial/Manufacturing Solutions Architect, you will be working with multiple function sales teams throughout Western Europe mostly (with potential reach to other parts of EMEA) and you will be responsible for the technical solution architecture in major solution design assignments, shaping, designing and proposing compelling integrated technical solutions to meet critical customer, functional and non-functional requirements, in the verticals such as energy, DSS, oil & gas, industrial, industrial automation & manufacturing sectors. Accountable for the delivery of high quality solution options and designs from both internal and external suppliers that meet business, contractual and technical requirements or constraints and are reusable, scalable, flexible and interoperable with other systems. The role requires innovative thinking which challenges conventions to deliver elegant but pragmatic solutions, within assurance constraints. There will be a significant level of customer engagement so strong communication and customer management skills are essential. You will need to survey prospective partners, study and evaluate their solutions to compliment Intel reference architecture. Furthermore, you will build a strategic eco system which provides various alternatives for our customers in terms of function and cost concern. This role will collaborate closely with the spectrum of Industrial/Manufacturing customers including but not limited to system integrators, solution integrators, solution providers, ISVs & service providers, integrators, resellers, distributors, ODMs, OEMs, & MNCs. The success of this role depends on building and maintaining strong relationships with peer software and hardware architecture teams, design teams and system integration teams. The ideal candidate must understand system architecture including hardware, software and industrial/manufacturing network specifications and solution designs for the manufacturing industry and how they connect to the cloud. This role will cover various types of industries and manufacturing. Direct experience in the industrial/manufacturing segment is required. Frequent regional and international travel may be required. Responsibilities The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: * Demonstrable experience as a lead design authority within the manufacturing industry for the delivery of large complex IT systems with both a financial and engineering functions * Demonstrable experience delivering technical solutions and architectures including applications and server architecture, and enterprise class networking and storage * Broad experience in the Software Engineering lifecycle, Systems management, IT Security, Transaction Processing and User Interfaces Design * Working hands-on with customers in their labs on Proof Of Concepts (POC) and project/program manage the POC * Demonstrable experience delivering of both small and large scale enterprise solutions * Strong collaborative approach and ability to work with multiple stakeholders with often conflicting requirements to achieve agreement and delivery to tight deadlines * Resourceful and dynamic, you will be able to elicit inputs from internal and external suppliers and combine corporate knowledge and technical expertise to produce well considered solution options * Kno
