ResMed is searching for our location in Martinsried (next to Munich) a Senior Systems Engineer (f/m) The position is available within the Respiratory Care Product Development team and will focus on developing new respiratory care products for introduction into the global market. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: * Defining design architecture to provide desired functionality by considering regulatory standards in adherence to ResMed Systems Engineering Processes * Delivering and maintaining the system specifications and developing user requirements in collaboration with marketing * Identifying and evaluating technical design alternatives to achieve desired functionality * Completing and maintaining the system risk analysis (e.g. FMEA, regression) * Working with engineering disciplines to decompose marketing and clinical requirements into system and discipline requirements and ensuring their traceability * Defining architectural interfaces and ensuring the system components’ integration Qualifications and experience required for the role: * Bachelor of Engineering or Science degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Systems or Mechatronics or comparable * More than 3 years of experience in systems engineering in a related role * Previous experience in medical device product development is preferable * Knowledge in DOORS requirements management software is preferable * Experience in a product development environment * Experience in working in multi-disciplinary teams * A strong, proactive and effective communicator.
