Perform short term forecasting and fundamental analysis in the Nordic power market across all available market channels (ancillary services, intraday, day-ahead, prompt) Research and monitor relevant sources to keep your stakeholders ahead of the market Work closely with peer analysts, traders and optimizers across multiple teams to ensure optimal information flow Be responsible for the balance between maintenance and new development of tools / market models as well as data feeds within your area Initiate new trading strategies and enable value creation; challenge and optimize existing processes & interfaces Develop effective working relationships with other power analysts and experts within the E.ON Group. Education in engineering and/or economics. Deep understanding of hydro driven power markets and relevant experience in modelling them with a special emphasis towards the short term horizon.
