Where do you want to be? We are looking for an exceptional Sales Manager to lead part of our European Sales team based in Germany. Sales Manager (m/f) You will have ownership responsibilities for many aspects of the company’s sales and business relationships with our customers. The experience and future opportunities include: * Lead the development, building, and support of sales to Key Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Industrial and Public Authorities customers * Provide leadership and direction to sales force developing the sales of our solutions and services * Responsible for sales planning and forecasting, and the professional development of the sales team, more particularly in value based selling and strategic sales * Manage the overall relationship with customers in close contact with Key Account Managers and Sales Specialists * Create and maintain a high level contacts network to best position our company for business development * Ensure that booking and revenue targets are achieved As a Sales Manager, you are asked to deliver the following: 1. Be an asset in the European Sales management team, and develop a strong working relationship with your peers across the organization 2. Develop existing and new relationships at all levels in key customer organisation 3. Coordinate both internally with all departments and externally all ongoing business activities 4. Take ownership and manage the needs of customers and projects 5. Set up, plan and execute with the team all commercial activities 6. Discuss and execute new product introduction with customers 7. Ensure that adequate skills are available or developed within your team What do we expect from you? You should already be a successful Sales Manager, with the following profile: * University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and business equivalent * Strong knowledge of Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, or Public Authorities market segments * Knowledge of Sound & Vibration technologies and challenges, or Testing instrumentation, would be an asset * Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management or successful experience in sales at a senior level * Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills * Team management skills within an international context and the ability to multi-task * Cross functional leadership, inspiring behavior, value, solution and team based selling * German on native speaker level with full fluency in English (one additional European language would be appreciated) * Able to develop and maintain internal and external networks with an open mind to problem solving * Able to anticipate, identify priorities and manage self & team activities accordingly * A never give-up attitude, keep going towards goal achievement in all circumstances What do we offer? * A world class market leading brand with market leading products * A key leadership position for a great company with growth ambitions, both organic and external * High growth potential in Europe over several business areas and a successful highly motivated team and work environment * Market rate salary & benefits (depending on skills & experience) Interested?
