Siegling – total belting solutions Movement Systems is a global industry leader for sophisticated conveyor and processing belts, synthetic modular belts, top-quality power transmission belts, as well as timing and flat belts made of synthetic materials. These products are known under the brand name Siegling. They are used in a wide range of applications in industry, trade, and the service sector, including conveyor and processing belts in the food industry, treadmill belts in fitness studios, and flat belts in mail distribution centers. We are seeking a Director Global Roll Production (m/f) who has functional responsibility for all manufacturing sites (roll production and plastic modular belts). He/She ensures that our products are manufactured according to specifications and at lowest costs. Furthermore he/she makes sure that all products are ready for shipment on time. He/She is overall responsible for the performance of all selected plants. He/She develops and implements productivity initiatives at all manufacturing sites. Your responsibilities: * Responsible for all financial and operational KPI’s related to roll production worldwide * To develop, update and implement the global production strategy * Functional responsibility for all roll production sites and plastic modular belts * Define organizational elements (structure, standards, methods) * Development of improved manufacturing processes and equipment * Establishes annual plans for roll production * Ensures know-how transfers, open communication and effective interfaces across all manufacturing sites globally and with other divisional functions * Ensures proper risk management procedures and contingency planning * Responsible for the headcount worldwide in all manufacturing sites * Responsible for the implementation and execution of lean manufacturing at all sites Your profile: * Engineering degree, ideally complemented by an MBA or other means to gain solid understanding of business economics * Technical competence in roll manufacturing * Successful track record of at least 5 years as multi-site operations manager in an international group * Understanding of controlling methods and tools in production environment * Fluent in English, knowledge of German is an advantage * Strong leadership skills * Willingness to travel We offer: * A range of challenging responsibilities * Performance-related payment * Attractive employee benefits Have we got you interested?
