Summary of
Responsibilities
To provide technical advice and application support in
a way that helps ADI to win designs and satisfy customers To influence the direction of ADI’s product offering by
finding out about customers’ potential technical requirements – and
communicating them to ADI Product Line and Marketing personnel
Note 1: In
Asia Pacific Applications and Marketing Engineers carry additional
responsibilities:
To identify customers marketing strategies and match
them to ADI strengths To work with the customer where new products or special
technical requirements need to be defined To build external alliances to assemble the complete
value proposition required by the customer To negotiate with the Product Line, where special
customer circumstances require, the price which will be offered to the customer
by the sales force or the distributor
Note 2: In
some Regions FAE’s will also be expected to provide technical support to ADI
Distributors, working in close liaison with the Regional Distribution Manager
and other members of the distribution team as needed. COMPETENCIES:Maintain
