We are looking for a Carrier Manager (m/f) to join our European Transportation team. The position is located in our German headquarter in Munich. Responsibilities: * Monitor and analyze customer experience and delivery performance * Manage carrier delivery performance, capacity and cost * Logistics provider relationship management including regular detailed business operations reviews with carriers * Maintain and develop SLA’s with carriers/ logistics providers through daily management and process improvements, e.g. through Kaizen projects * Drive and support improvement initiatives of outbound transportation costs * Analyzing and Optimizing existing Carrier and Amazon managed transportation networks and Optimal Truck utilization and line-haul setup * Travel required Basic Qualifications: * Degree or similar education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Economics, Science, or a similar related discipline * Preferably 5-6 years’ experience in carrier / service provider management in fulfillment, transportation or supply chain * Excellent track record managing KPIs, improving service levels and customer experience * Strong analytical skills and ambition to develop into a senior management role * Excellent communication skills in German and a good working knowledge in English (written and verbal) * Lean Management/Kaizen experience Preferred Qualifications * MBA Applications with English CV only please Are you interested?
