Your duties Scouting of new technologies and trends in the area of sensors and sensor networks Evaluating these new technologies with regard to a possible use in lighting and building automation Developing the internal network and sharing know-how Establishing an external network with relevant experts and partners in industry and research Participation in technology road mapping processes Creating technology demonstrators / pilots Participation in / Managing of technology projects Your profile University diploma or PhD in electrical engineering or a related field in engineering / physics Sound professional experience in a similar position Experience in sensor technologies such as embedded camera sensors, color sensors, MEMS sensors in general. Skilled in pervasive sensing and related topics like energy harvesting and ultra-low power systems Ideally familiar with building information modelling and building automation Fluent in English, both business and tech-nical; German is a plus Open minded and willing to work on a broad array of new technologies, strong networking skills
