Risk Analyst (m/f)

Description:

A Risk Analyst who supports the market risk team in daily operational risk reporting and in project specific tasks on risk reporting projects.

Responsibilities:

• A Risk Analyst who supports daily operational risk reporting to market risk and front office teams of commodity positions, p&l, risk metrics and compliance indicators and carries out project specific tasks on risk reporting projects.
• Ensuring  delivery of reliable, accurate, timely and relevant reports to internal and external customers
• Takes full ownership and responsibility for the quality of the published information
• Ensures collaboration with Market Risk & Front office departments

Qualification/Skills:

• University degree in the areas of Business Administration / Economics, Business Engineering or Computer Science (or comparable)
• At least 3  years working experience in energy trading or risk management  
• Strong analytical mind-set with an ability to keep an eye on the essentials
• Strong team player with demonstrated experience of working in an international team
• Excellent communication skills, in particular in the area of reporting and decision support
• Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of additional languages would be a plus
• Strong analytical skills, proficient knowledge in Excel and Access.
• Advance Excel, Access and VBA knowledge would  be an advantage
• Good SQL Skills (e.g. TSQL for MS SQL server) a plus

Prerequisites:

• 1-3 years of solid market risk experience preferably in the Financial/Energy Industry.
• Fluent English.
• Available in Düsseldorf
