Product Owner (Backend) Are you a Product Owner or Manager with at least 3 years experience of developing complex business compliant systems, and who likes the challenge of creating a new service that will disrupt an entire global industry? If so read on! The Opportunity: We’re looking for self-motivated product owner who likes to focus on developing scalable backend technologies and tools to support our new service. You will be familiar with agile methods to define stories, facilitate sprint planning and get all our great ideas on the road. You will be able to communicate well with designers, developers and business people to clarify what needs to be done and build a shared vision. We are a new exciting fintech venture: we’re agile, fast-paced, passionate, and motivated by a desire to create products our customers will love. Our requirements: Minimum of 3 years working as a Product Owner or Manager in a startup or similar environment. Ability to analyse technological needs and form a meaningful backlog. A strong desire to simplify and optimise complex business processes. An analytical approach and comfort using data to frame ideas and show status. A structured worker who can multi-task and set meaningful priorities. Experience of developing API’s, working on integration aspects of projects - databases, 3rd party systems and more. Experienced in agile ways of working, using JIRA and related tools. Empathy for design and technology and can work well with both UX designers and developers. A hands on approach, willing to jump in and get things done. A degree in business, computer science, related field or equivalent industry experience. A good communicator with fluent spoken and written English, German a big plus.
