User Interaction Designer (m/f)

We are looking for a User Interaction Designer who will work closely with Product and Engineering to deliver an engaging user experience to our customers. Based in Düsseldorf, this position reports to the Head of Product Management and offers the opportunity to work on a variety of design challenges (desktop, cloud and mobile), and shape the future of the entire product line. This person should have a passion for usability, an eye for visual consistency, and a knack for reducing the complex to the bare essentials. Responsibilities Design elegant solutions to complex workflows, design things that people will talk aboutWork with product managers, business analysts, and agile scrum teams to refine software requirements and evaluate design alternativesTake the initiative in providing input and feedback in both departmental discussions and on issues relating to other departmentsAssist product management and feature teams in defining functional interaction requirements specificationsDesign user interactions based on story requirements, using best practices gathered from relevant researchDevelop and maintain wireframes, mock-ups and detailed user-interface specificationsWork with engineers to ensure that UI designs are technically feasible and can be implemented within release timeframesBuild functional low- and high-fidelity UI prototypes using Balsamiq and Axure RP (as needed)Work independently with minimal supervision on complex projects Requirements and the individual Minimum 3 years of experience as an interaction designer or user experience professionalIdeally, you have successfully completed your degree in Media Information Technology or a similar qualificationExperience in user-centered design methods, techniques and principlesAbility to lead brainstorm sessions well with others (customers, designers, engineers, and product managers) and give and take constructive feedback.
