Insurance Risk Consultant (f/m), Zurich Do you have a passion for solving complex business problems within the insurance industry? Do you relish the challenge of delivering market leading risk consulting services to our key clients? In this position you will be part of our Actuarial and Insurance Risk Services team and will be responsible for driving the expansion of our risk consulting services in Switzerland, delivering advisory engagements and building KPMG's relationships with existing and target clients. Your responsibilities: -Providing key risk consulting services to our insurance clients including: * Developing Risk Transformation programmes * Risk Framework development / review (including e.g. market risk, operational risk) * Risk Appetite definition and development * Risk Management Information design * Control Effectiveness * Solvency II, Pillar 2 including the ORSA * Capital Management * Managing and assisting in the delivery of client engagements, with responsibility for client deliverables and day-to-day liaison with clients * Managing project teams or work streams within a project team directly at the client site * Providing technical input to a number of projects and providing review and challenge to deliverables produced by the team * Actively identifying and supporting business development opportunities, including supporting the team with sales activities such as proposal writing or pitching of products or services * Contribution to the development of new propositions and/or services and the refreshing of existing products and/or services * Active role in the proposal and pitching of products and/ or services for new engagements in close cooperation with the Partners * Cultivate and maintain client relationships at existing and target clients * Coaching and developing team members both as part of our overall Performance Management process or on specific engagements * Close collaboration with other KPMG teams to provide technical input Your profile: * Successful candidates will hold a relevant degree, and ideally have a professional qualification in risk or actuarial. * 4 – 7 years of experience in the insurance industry and ideally with consultancy experience. Expertise and experience in the above mentioned service lines. * A broad knowledge of insurance products and strategies as well as knowledge of Swiss and international regulatory regimes for insurers. * Strong external network in Switzerland is an advantage * Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and an ability to explain Risk Management concepts with clarity to our clients * Fluency in English (written and oral) required, German a strong plus * Ability to set priorities in order to accomplish work in a multitasking environment and a sound track record in meeting tight deadlines * Experience in leading teams and projects * Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service Seize this chance and become part of a high performing and fast growing team in a thriving and engaging culture.
