Summary The role is responsible for managing the finance operations of the wind assets included in the Renewables division. The wind assets are currently based in Brazil, Peru and Austria, and significant growth is expected in this division over the next few years. The position will be responsible for leading a team of finance managers based in Sao Paulo, Lima and Vienna, that looks after the wind assets. This role will involve working closely with executives, the operation team and the accounting team. Client Details Our client is a New York City based international company within the Energy Sector. After setting up a new HQ in Vienna for the European business the role as Finance Director Wind (m/f) is vacant. Description - Implementing strategies for cost reduction - Cash distribution planning to meet or exceed budget - Coordination and review of the monthly business report - Managing the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial information is provided and submitted in accordance with Group policies - Present the conclusions of analysis performed against the investment case and any materials required for the Board of Directors meetings for Wind division - Monitoring, review and coordination of the Wind division annual budget and quarterly forecasts - Monitoring, review and coordination of the Wind division cash flow forecast - Monitoring and review of significant contracts for financial impact - Monitoring and assisting in the performance of all internal controls for the wind division ensuring all internal control requirements are met in accordance with Group policies - Monitoring financial KPI’s for the wind assets - Other ad hoc projects and preparation of financial analysis Profile - University degree, relevant to the role - 8 years or more relevant experience in accounting/finance - Excellent Microsoft Excel skills - Knowledge of SAP/BPC preferred - English excellent oral & written, German and Portuguese fluency preferred but not required Job Offer Our client offers a base salary starting with 85.000,- EUR plus additional bonus. Depending on experience there is a will for overpayment.
